Well hello there. I’m the one who wrote

“59.99.25.117 of INDIA claims to be amber.johnson1983@gmail.com reported for SPAM”

after receiving a piece of spam from that IP address — and my logs showed they went right to the email form, without visiting any other part of my site.

I sent an email to that address asking for ID confirmation and received no reply.

I’m concerned that low-wage workers or bots are targeting any blog which has an email form they can guess.

If it happens again I’ll change the email form URL.

I recieved a message from this Amber Johnson about a different article on a similar site. The article had no relevance to any of the content that has been posted on my blog.

I e-mailed Amber, if that is her real name, back asking her how she found my blog. She never replied.
